Pacific Continental Bank's CEO Inducted into Oregon Bankers Association Hall of Fame
Hal Brown recognized for community and business service
EUGENE, Ore., July 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Continental Bank, the bank subsidiary of Pacific Continental Corporation (Nasdaq: PCBK), announced that Chief Executive Officer Hal Brown was recently named to the Oregon Bankers Association Hall of Fame.
The Oregon Bankers Association presented Hal with the honor on July 10 at the Annual Convention in Sunriver, Ore. Induction into the Oregon Bankers Hall of Fame is the highest, peer-to-peer honor bestowed on Oregon bankers.

Brown has served as CEO of Pacific Continental Bank for 11 years and has been employed with the bank since 1985. With Brown's leadership and direction, Pacific Continental grew to become a $1.3 billion publicly traded company (as of March 1, 2013). In addition to the numerous public accolades and awards given to the bank over the past decade, Brown was named as the financial industry's 2012 CEO of the Year by the Portland Business Journal.

Brown currently serves as board member and chairman for PacificSource Health Plans' audit committee and as a board member of Angle, LLC, which develops mobile device applications for the sight-impaired. He previously served on the boards for ShelterCare and the United Way of Lane County and mentored two students at Northwest Christian University who graduated this year.
Brown was elected to the Oregon Bankers Association board in 2008, and has been an avid supporter of the organization. Since its creation in 1987, the Oregon Bankers Association Hall of Fame has inducted 73 Oregon Bankers who have made outstanding contributions to the Oregon banking community and the communities where they live and work.
