Executives from across the state select Pacific Continental Bank as one of the most admired companies in Oregon.
EUGENE, Ore., Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Continental Bank, the bank subsidiary of Pacific Continental Corporation (Nasdaq: PCBK), today announced that it was recently recognized as one of Oregon's most admired companies in the Portland Business Journal's 2011 Most Admired Companies survey. For the fourth time, Pacific Continental was ranked as a top-ten company in the "Financial Services" classification.
"To be recognized once again as a 'most admired' company is indeed an honor," said Hal Brown, Pacific Continental's chief executive officer. "It's especially nice that the recognition came from executives who work across vastly different industry classifications. Everyone at Pacific Continental, from front-line staff to the board of directors, greatly appreciates the recognition."
In a survey sent to approximately 1,800 chief executive officers and top-level managers throughout Oregon and SW Washington, recipients were asked to select three companies they most admire across eight industry classifications. Within each category, companies named by the responding CEOs were identified as first-, second- or third-place choice. This year's survey marks the sixth year the Portland Business Journal has polled regional CEOs for this particular recognition.
