PA Secretary Wiessmann to Deliver Opening Remarks for Panel Discussion on the Challenges of Saving for Retirement
HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Secretary of Banking and Securities Robin L. Wiessmann will provide opening remarks at a public panel discussion hosted by Harrisburg public television station WITF on October 25, focusing on how Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, and Millennials can prepare for retirement.
"With 45 percent of Americans having nothing saved for retirement, our country is facing a serious financial challenge in the coming decades," said Wiessmann. "In Pennsylvania, we are taking proactive steps to meet this challenge head-on. The panel discussion is part of a preview screening of "When I'm 65," a documentary exploring the psychology, sociology, and future of retirement. "When I'm 65" will be aired by WITF on Sunday, October 30, at 6:00 PM.
Wiessmann will deliver the opening remarks and WITF's Scott LaMar will moderate the discussion of a distinguished panel:
