PA Revenue Department Releases July Collections
HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania collected $1.7 billion in General Fund revenue in July, the first month of the 2010-11 fiscal year, Secretary of Revenue C. Daniel Hassell reported today.
Sales tax receipts totaled $756.6 million; personal income tax revenue was $637.8 million; and corporation tax revenue was $59.4 million for July.
General Fund revenue figures for July included $63.7 million in inheritance tax and $35.2 million in realty transfer tax.
Other General Fund revenue, including cigarette, malt beverage and liquor taxes totaled $106.2 million for the month.
General Fund table games revenue totaled $1.6 million for the month.
Non-tax revenue totaled $32.7 million for the month.
In addition to the General Fund collections, the Motor License Fund received $244.3 million for the month.
