PA Lottery Prize Worth $50,000 to Expire Dec. 10
Unclaimed Winning Quinto Ticket was Sold in Schuylkill County
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Nov. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Time is running out for the holder of a Pennsylvania Lottery Quinto ticket worth $50,000 from the Dec. 10, 2009, evening drawing to claim the prize.
The ticket and prize will expire one year from the date of the drawing.
"This Quinto ticket could have been tucked in a stocking last year," said Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees. "I'm sure it would be a very nice holiday for the player who finds it and turns it in."
The soon-to-expire evening Quinto ticket correctly matched all five numbers drawn, 6-6-4-3-1, in the exact order drawn, for a prize of $50,000, less 25-percent federal withholding. It was sold at Jean's, 21 E. Center St., Shenandoah, Schuylkill County.
The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages the ticket-holder to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim by Dec. 10 at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of Lottery's seven area offices. Claims may be filed at headquarters Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at area Lottery offices.
Unclaimed, expired lottery prizes remain in the Lottery Fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians.
How to play Quinto: To play Quinto, players pay $1 and select a five-digit number. Players may select their own numbers using a Quinto playslip, or they may opt for computer-selected numbers. Players must match all five numbers in the exact order drawn to win the top prize of $50,000. There also are 12 additional ways to win a cash prize.
