PA Lottery Millionaire Raffle Drawing Creates Four New Millionaires
$5,089,200 in Total Prizes Awarded to 6,000 Winners
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Jan. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Lottery's Millionaire Raffle has created four new millionaires and thousands of other winners. The selection of four $1 million raffle ticket numbers and four $100,000 raffle ticket numbers was televised live on the Lottery's drawing show earlier this evening.
The four $1 million top-prize raffle ticket numbers selected were: 00303816, 00156850, 00438607, and 00387386.
The four $100,000 second-tier prize raffle ticket numbers selected were: 00140867, 00240679, 00070573, and 00188425.
The remaining 5,992 winning raffle ticket numbers for third- and fourth-tier prizes were selected, but were not televised due to time constraints.
In total, the Millionaire Raffle drawing offered 6,000 prizes worth $5,089,200. Millionaire Raffle's prize levels are:
- Four prizes of $1 million
- Four prizes of $100,000
- 100 prizes of $1,000
- 5,892 prizes of $100
Each $20 Millionaire Raffle ticket offered a 1-in-125,000 chance of winning one of the $1 million top prizes. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1-in-83.33.
Players may check winning numbers beginning tonight at palottery.com. Winning raffle ticket numbers will be listed by prize category. Players should also check tickets using a scanner available at Lottery retailers.
To be considered a winning ticket, the eight-digit number on a Millionaire Raffle ticket must exactly match a winning number selected in the raffle drawing, and all digits must appear in the same sequence as the winning number.
The $1 million top prizes must be claimed by presenting a winning ticket at Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of the Lottery's seven area offices. Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lottery headquarters and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices.
Claims for the $100,000 prizes can be filed at any of the Lottery's seven area offices or at a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer. Holders of Millionaire Raffle tickets worth $1,000 and $100 can claim winnings at Lottery retailers.
Ticket sales for the Pennsylvania Lottery's 19th edition of Millionaire Raffle began Nov. 14, 2014. The final ticket for this Millionaire Raffle drawing was sold at 11:03 this morning.
Since the first edition of Millionaire Raffle in 2005, the game has awarded a total of more than $101.5 million in prizes.
