Owl Computing Technologies Hosted 10th Annual Cross Domain Forum
Cybersecurity event showcased Enterprise Security Solutions
RIDGEFIELD, Conn., June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Owl Computing Technologies, Inc., a network security solutions provider, is excited to have hosted the 10th Annual Owl Cross Domain Forum, showcasing its successful suite of network defense products.
Held May 21st, 2014 at the Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner in Vienna, Virginia, this year's Owl Cross Domain Forum marked a significant milestone in Owl's long history of protecting the defense and intelligence community networks against cyberattacks.
The inaugural Owl Cross Domain Forum in 2005 featured hourly one-on-one appointments, with attendees that included professionals from the U.S. security agencies.
This year's 10th annual event was considerably larger. In addition to featuring a keynote presentation by Dan Nichols, the Director of the Unified Cross Domain Services Management Office, the forum included an address by Dennis Ruth, a National Defense University iCollege faculty member and Defense Information Systems Agency Visiting Chair, and demonstrations on enterprise cross domain solutions for email and chat, secure video transfer, and network monitoring.
Holding true to the event's original intent, Owl welcomed attendees from a variety of defense and intelligence communities, as well as the private sector, to provide a forum for information exchange about the growing threats against digital networks and the mitigation provided by Owl Cross Domain Solutions.
