OWA Announces First Series of Tenants
Including Wahlburgers 2nd Largest U.S. Location Opening Late Summer 2017
FOLEY, Ala., May 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- OWA unveiled the first in a series of major retail and dining tenant announcements that will be calling the Foley, Alabama based resort destination home. In seeking out immersive brand partners, OWA revealed today that Wahlburgers would be one of the first restaurants set to open in late summer 2017. Stephanie A. Bryan, Tribal Chair and CEO for Poarch Band of Creek Indians stated, "We are excited to announce Wahlburgers will be opening at OWA this Summer, along with several other significant tenants who have signed on to join us in this exciting endeavor. We are proud to continue building partnerships that will create jobs in the hospitality industry, helping to grow a strong economic future for the State."
The Wahlburgers location at OWA will be its first storefront to open in Alabama and will be the brand's 2nd largest U.S. location. The split-service burger restaurant features a menu that also includes salads, sandwiches, vegetarian options and side dishes like tater tots, macaroni and cheese and macaroni salad. The restaurants also features a full-service bar.

Other tenants announced during Tuesday's press event included Sunglass World, Fairhope Soap Company, Alvin's Island, Hershey's Ice Cream Shop, and Utopia. Today's press event represents the first in a series of announcements planned in coming weeks that will highlight more national, regional and local tenants beginning work at OWA.
Reminiscent of a small Southern town, OWA's goal is to provide guests with an immersive experience like no other currently offered in Coastal Alabama. With that goal in mind, OWA's retail, dining, and entertainment space will offer more than fifty new venues to captivate the most discerning food and fashion lovers. Available retail and dining space is quickly being leased up as demand on both the regional and national level continues to grow.
