Oviedo Dickey’s Barbecue Pit To Host 'Cruise In' Event

OVIEDO, Fla., Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Oviedo will hold a "Cruise In" event on Sunday, January 30th and Sunday, February 13th, where participants in the event will receive 20% off their entire purchase.

The event will be hosted by Dickey's Owner Corey Warren and the Central Florida Cruisers.  

"We wanted to host a fun event for the community and have a place where people can come together to enjoy classic cars and great food," Warren said. "This is a great opportunity for us to invite all members of the community out for a family fun night."

The first "Cruise In" event, hosted on January 15, brought in over 86 different types of cars.

"The first event went far beyond what we had expected," he said. "We hope that this event keeps continuing to grow."

Warren said patrons can enjoy great barbecue and a variety of entertainment including a live DJ, door prizes and a raffle.

Dickey's Barbecue asks all Dickey's Owner/Operators to find ways to be good stewards in the communities in which we do business.
