NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Finn Partners announced today the appointment of Ovidio Torres as partner, and Kristen Berry, associate vice president, as part of the firm's growing national Health Practice. Both will be based in the agency's Chicago office.

Torres and Berry will work closely with Gil Bashe, managing partner, Finn Partners Health; Dan Pooley, managing partner, Finn Partners Midwest, and other Finn Partners' colleagues to advance the agency's growth in pharmaceutical, payer, provider and health-technology sectors, both nationally and in the Midwest region.

Prior to joining Finn Partners, Torres ran his own consultancy, working with biopharma companies with products spanning early-stage development through launch. He has held senior leadership positions at public relations firms, including Weber Shandwick, Edelman, H+K Strategies and Chamberlain Healthcare. He began his career at the Scientists' Institute for Public Information, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving media coverage of science, medicine and public health.
