Name of Product: Self-balancing scooters/hoverboards
Hazard: The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.
Remedy: Refund
Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled products and contact Overstock.com for instructions on receiving a full refund.

Recall Details
Units: About 4,300
Description: This recall involves all self-balancing scooters, commonly referred to as hoverboards, sold on Overstock.com. Hoverboards have two wheels at either end of a platform and are powered by lithium-ion battery packs. They were sold in a variety of colors and brand names.
Incidents/Injuries: There has been one report of the battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards overheating and catching on fire. There have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
Sold at: Online at Overstock.com from September 2015 through December 2015 for between $365 and $485.
