SANTA BARBARA, Calif., May 16, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On May 2nd, more than 200 golfers hit the links at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ for the 7th Annual Vitamin Angels Benefit Outing raising over $340,000 for Vitamin Angels. Attendees enjoyed a full round of golf, reception, and dinner all in support of providing nutritional support to children and women at risk of malnutrition globally. The event, co-hosted by the Vitamin Shoppe and Nature's Value, Inc., brought the total raised during the 7-year course of the event to almost $2.5 million. At an average cost of $.25 per child served, the cumulative impact of this event will provide vitamins to close to 10 million children.
