Outstanding Small Businesses and Supporters to Receive Honors at 6th Annual SCORE Awards
WASHINGTON, July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SCORE, – www.score.org – mentors to America's small businesses, announces the winners of the 2014 SCORE Awards recognizing excellence in American small business owners and non-profits whose success has been impacted by SCORE's services. In 2013, SCORE mentors assisted entrepreneurs in starting 38,630 new businesses, creating 67,319 new jobs in the American economy and serving a total of 330,796 clients. The 2014 SCORE Awards will honor several outstanding examples of successful, innovative SCORE clients as well as important advocates for small business at a gala taking place on August 14, 2014 in Washington, DC. The gala will also celebrate SCORE's 50th anniversary and the more than 10 million small businesses SCORE volunteers have served over the past half century.
