KISSIMMEE, Fla., June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Outback Steakhouse® is debuting its newest restaurant in Kissimmee, Florida, opening its doors at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3. To show its support of the local community, a portion of the restaurant's opening day sales (up to $5,000) will benefit Give Kids the World, a nonprofit organization dedicated to treating children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations. The new restaurant will be the first in the area to feature a new "Modern Australia" design both inside and out.
"We love being a part of the Kissimmee community and are excited to open a new restaurant with a totally new design for our guests to enjoy," said Cathy Saboff, Managing Partner, Outback Steakhouse. "We're looking forward to seeing our friends and neighbors on grand opening day and to give back to a great organization."
To mark the official grand opening, the Kissimmee Outback restaurant is inviting local area residents to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 4.
The new restaurant will replace the previous Kissimmee location on West Vine Street and will feature a "Modern Australia" design with decor that mirrors the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure, geography and leisure of modern day Australia. Guests will also enjoy a spacious, energetic bar area that includes a community table – a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails. The new bar will also feature customized seating and furnishings and is connected directly to the outdoor dining patio.
In addition to Outback's signature bold steak dinner entrees, the restaurant is introducing new core menu innovations, including the new Wood-Fire Grilled Flat Iron Steak and Premium Sides, such as Steakhouse Mac & Cheese, Loaded Mash and Parmesan Fries. Plus, for a limited time guests can enjoy the new Victoria's Filet® Mignon Portabella and the Outback Special® Sirloin Portabella starting at just $13.99. The Kissimmee Outback also features a wide variety of fast and affordable lunch combos available Saturday and Sunday, starting at just $6.99, such as the Aussie Steak Tacos or the new 1/2 Ribeye Melt.
The Kissimmee Outback Steakhouse is located at 895 West Osceola Parkway 300 and is open from 4 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 4 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
