Tim Beard, a former investment banker focused on the technology industry, joins Ossia as Chief Financial Officer. Doug Stovall, an experienced high-tech sales and operations executive, has been named Chief Revenue Officer. Preston Woo, a specialist in technology partnerships and licensing, will serve as Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Alliances.

Tim Beard joins Ossia from the Technology Investment Banking group at Raymond James where he advised companies on mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and other equity and debt financings. Earlier in his career, Tim was a member of the technology group at BofA Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank. His clients have included HP, Broadcom/Avago, Rackspace, Ubiquiti Networks, Ambarella, MobileEye, and Ruckus Wireless. Tim holds a J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law and a BA and MA from Stanford University.
Doug has been involved with leading edge technology companies his entire career. Previously, Doug was Chief Revenue Officer for Mobivity, managing sales, client services, and marketing. Prior to Mobivity, Doug held executive positions with Hipcricket, Inc., Acuity Mobile, Inc., TeleCommunications Systems, Inc., Aether Systems, Inc. and Xpedior, Inc. Doug has been a key team member in nine successful exits during his career. He holds an MBA from William Carey University and a BS in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Preston Woo joins Ossia with 15 years of experience in technology licensing, strategic partnerships, corporate development, M&A, private equity, and fundraising. Most recently, he served as CFO and VP of Sarcos Robotics, a global leader in robotic systems with Fortune 500 investors. Previously, Preston was head of corporate development at Pendrell Corporation, a publicly-traded firm focused on acquiring and developing technologies. He also led business development in the licensing division at Intellectual Ventures and served in the private equity group at Vulcan Capital. Preston holds both a BS and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
