Orthopaedic & Spine Center Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner

NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The physicians of Orthopaedic & Spine Center, located at 250 Nat Turner Boulevard in Newport News, have announced that Kimberley D. Maigi, FNP-C, has joined the practice as its newest healthcare provider. Maigi will be working in the OSC Pain Management Center, under the supervision of Raj N. Sureja, MD, OSC's senior Interventional Pain Management specialist.

Maigi comes to OSC by way of Springfield, Missouri, where she attended Cox College of Nursing (RN) and Missouri State University, where she was awarded a Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN). Maigi is a Certified Emergency Nurse and holds certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

OSC began providing Interventional pain management services in 2008, when Dr. Sureja joined the practice. There will be a grand opening of the Pain Management Center on Friday, September 12, 2014, when Maigi will be formally introduced to the Hampton Roads community.
