About BasicBites:
BasicBites are breakthrough delicious sugar-free chocolate flavored soft chews that help maintain healthy teeth. BasicBites coat and nourish tooth surfaces with ingredients naturally found in healthy saliva. BasicBites contain the patented AlkaGen Technology™ that helps support existing healthy pH levels on tooth surfaces and provides a mineral source. The revolutionary technology in BasicBites was developed at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. The vital saliva based ingredients in BasicBites include arginine bicarbonate and calcium carbonate. Arginine, a common amino acid, is favored by certain good bacteria in dental plaque that produce alkali. This base production helps support existing healthy pH levels on the surfaces of the teeth. By continuing to nourish good bacteria, the continued use of BasicBites helps maintain the existing and healthy flora on tooth surfaces. The calcium in BasicBites is available to coat and support healthy tooth structure. BasicBites are recommended for children over six years of age and adults. BasicBites are essential for individuals with diets high in sugars and for the millions of people with dry mouth.
BasicBites, 20 calories per piece, is available for individuals and dental professionals exclusively from Ortek at its website www.basicbites.com
