Ormco Corporation Files Appeal to the Federal Court Against Ortho Classic H4 Bracket Patent Infringement

ORANGE, Calif., Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ormco Corporation, a leading manufacturer and provider of advanced orthodontic technology and services, today announced that it has filed an appeal to the Federal Court against Ortho Classic related to patent infringement.

As previously announced, Ormco filed a motion with the Oregon District Court requesting the District Court to enjoin sales of the H4 Bracket produced by Ortho Classic, part of World Class Technology Corp. The District Court denied Ormco's motion. Ormco respectfully disagrees with the District Court's position and has appealed the District Court's decision to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
