Orlando, Florida's Holy Land Experience Features Spectacular Giant Screen Presentation of Mel Gibson's Classic "Passion of the Christ" Easter Weekend
ORLANDO, Fla., April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Trinity Broadcasting Network's award-winning Holy Land Experience, the Orlando family vacation destination where the land of the Bible comes alive, will host a free Easter weekend presentation of Mel Gibson's big-screen classic The Passion of the Christ. The movie will be shown uncut and without interruption at the park's majestic Church of All Nations, on the facility's giant, 60-foot-by-20-foot high-definition screen.
Starring one of Hollywood's most beloved actors, Jim Caviezel, as Jesus, The Passion of the Christ follows the path of the suffering Savior from his agonizing intercession in the Garden of Gethsemane and savage scourging at the hands of the Romans, to the final moments of his brutal crucifixion. Throughout this intense and emotion-packed film, Jesus is portrayed in all of his humanity while flashbacks of his life reveal his true divine nature.
"Since its debut ten years ago, The Passion of the Christ has been embraced by believers the world over for its realistic and moving portrayal of Jesus' suffering and death," said Mike Everett, General Manager of Holy Land Experience. "We're thrilled to once again share this powerful movie with our many friends and guests."
Presentation times for The Passion of the Christ at the Church of All Nations are: Good Friday April 18th (6 p.m.), Saturday April 19th (6 p.m. and 9 p.m.), and Easter Sunday April 20th (3 p.m).
Parking and entrance to this special event are free, with 2,000 seats available on a first-come-first-served basis.
