PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Oregon's Health CO-OP announced two new hires to its leadership team. Dr. Joyce Nuesca, M.D. joins Oregon's Health CO-OP as Chief Medical Officer and Andrew Kaser joins as Director of Provider Engagement. With 2016 Open Enrollment underway, Oregon's Health CO-OP is well positioned with members as its focus, excellent leadership, solid financials, community-driven spirit, innovative health plans, and an eye to the future.
Joyce Nuesca, M.D. joins Oregon's Health CO-OP as chief medical officer where she will lead and execute the overall clinical vision for the organization, offer medical oversight, and provide clinical direction. Her experience spans healthcare management, urgent care, quality improvement, public health, obstetrics and maternal health, primary care, pediatrics, patient education, and chronic care. In addition to practicing medicine for nine years, her expertise and leadership also includes overseeing innovative healthcare solutions, developing medical programs, and managing multi-specialty practices.
Andrew Kaser has been hired as Oregon's Health CO-OP director of provider engagement, where he will ensure that healthcare facilities and healthcare providers are contracted and serviced to provide the highest quality and most effective patient care. Kaser brings 28 years of experience in managed care oversight to ensure effective reimbursement and reward systems for participating CO-OP providers.
