Oregon Department of Education Awards a Perfect Score to Curriculum Associates' K-5 Ready® and i-Ready® Common Core Mathematics

SALEM, Ore., Sept. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Oregon State Board of Education announced that it has approved the adoption of Curriculum Associates' Ready and i-Ready Common Core Mathematics program for use in K–5 classrooms across the state of Oregon. Built for the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), the program received a perfect evaluation score during the Oregon Instructional Materials Evaluation Process conducted by the Oregon Department of Education. According to the department, the product received this score based on its alignment to the Oregon Common Core State Standards in Mathematics.
During the reviews for both grades K–2 and grades 3–5 materials, Ready and i-Ready Common Core Mathematics received a perfect score, earning 66 out of 66 points and scoring 100% on all evaluation criteria. The program was rated as 'Exemplary' on alignment to the CCSS in both Mathematical Content and Mathematical Practices. The program was additionally rated as 'Exemplifying Quality' in all four review sections.
