Orbograph Consolidates Check Recognition Platform With the Introduction of OrboCAR Accura XV™
Advances in recognition technologies give foundation to guaranteed performance
BILLERICA, Mass., Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Orbograph today announced OrboCAR Accura XV, its 15th anniversary recognition solution. Accura XV is the culmination of many man-years of development resulting in a recognition solution with the capacity of over 90% read rate performance at 99% accuracy across any range of scanners. These performance objectives are based on the full bank document mix. Check read rates can climb as high as 95% depending on the mix and environment.
In an effort to consolidate the number of releases, yet offer a wide range of licensing options, Accura XV is now available as the core technology to both centralized and distributed products, simplifying support and installation across the enterprise. License options include:
- Centralized Recognition
- Centralized or Distributed IQUA
- Accura XV Branch Reco
- Accura XV Merchant Reco
- Accura XV Teller Reco
- Amount Verification
- Automation Services
- Automation Services LE (Local Engine)
- Automated Endorsement Analysis
Accura XV's improved consistency of results, combined with Orbograph's Managed Recognition program, enables Orbograph to provide performance guarantees minimizing the risk to upgrade to new technology. Accura XV will also be the core recognition technology to Automation Services LE and the full Automation Services offerings giving financial institutions the ability to "lock-in" performance at either 90% or 98%.
Item processing capture trends and performance requirements have evolved significantly over the past ten years. During this time, recognition technologies have evolved to meet the needs of proactive financial institutions (FI's). Unfortunately, many FI's have not taken advantage of these developments due to prioritization of enterprise projects, electronic transaction platform changes or new product offerings, leaving check processing environments "under-optimized."
"There is a final leap in automation which check processing environments can strive for," stated Barry Cohen, General Manager of Orbograph. "In this mature market, we need to provide options to our customers that can give them the full advantage of the latest in recognition technology with a strong ROI yet low risk. An Accura XV license purchase or service agreement via Automation Services LE or full Automation Services addresses both requirements."
An Accura XV beta site performance review will be presented at Orbograph's 13th Recognition User Conference in Boston, MA on October 3rd and 4th.
