HERNDON, Va., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, announced today that Orbital Sciences Corporation's (NYSE: ORB) Chairman & CEO David Thompson will keynote a Titans series event on February 9 at The Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia. In his speech, "Commercial and Governmental Space Programs: Current Status and Future Prospects," Thompson will highlight the many ways satellite and space-based technologies drive the local economy, employing thousands of workers in Northern Virginia.
