Pitkin has been appointed to the prestigious Accounting and Review Services Committee (ARSC) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), effective February 1, 2018.

At ORBA, Ms. Pitkin serves as the Director of Quality Control, which is responsible for the firm's compliance with professional standards and firm policies. Ms. Pitkin has more than 20 years of accounting and auditing experience and, among other activities for the firm, uses her expertise to develop and present training on topics such as risk assessment and professional standards. She has authored several responses to proposed auditing and ethics standards. Ms. Pitkin is currently the Chair of the Accounting and Review Services Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs.
