Academy of Laser Dentistry Raises Oral Cancer Awareness with Free Public Screenings

The ALD is focusing on oral cancer education at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa during its 22nd Annual Lasers in Dentistry Conference and Exhibition February 5-7, 2015. Over 250 dental professionals and 25 exhibitors are expected for learning and networking. ALD is reserving 3 hours for oral cancer education, which includes a lecture from an oral cancer survivor, and a session educating members on the growing trends of HPV and Oral Cancer, titled 'Sex, Drugs & Oral Cancer". In addition to oral cancer education and awareness, ALD trained dental professionals will utilize the latest technology of OralID to perform oral cancer screenings for those who attend.
