Opulent Evenings at The Maryland Historical Society: The Popular Bootleggers Bash: 'REBOOTED'

BALTIMORE, Feb. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Far from hibernating, the Maryland Historical Society has a busy winter events season planned, with two black-tie galas:

On Saturday, February 22, our Young Defenders are rebooting last year's smash hit, The Bootleggers Bash. This year, we'll be rocking the night away in the 1840s Plaza. It's a bigger, grander venue so we can share that Young Defenders spark with even more of our friends! Baltimore's own Full Tilt Brewing will be pouring libations, and True Chesapeake Oysters will be shucking their bounty from the Bay. All beverages and appetizers are included with ticket purchase. Live music will be provided by hometown hero Bosley. This event is sponsored by Brown Advisory and Wright, Constable & Skeen, LLP.

We also cordially invite you to save the date: Saturday, April 12, 2014, for our Lord & Lady Baltimore Gala. It will be an opulent evening of two Baltimore icons: the Lord Baltimore Hotel and the Lady Baltimore statue.  "Only a Lord knows how to treat a Lady," will be our theme. Please join us for dinner, cocktails, and dancing in the historic grand ballroom of the Lord Baltimore Hotel, now restored to its former glory.
