Optimizing Quality Management Conference to be Launched in Texas in March 2012
March 14-15, 2012 at the Fort Worth Convention Center
FORT WORTH, Texas, January 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Quality Expo announces its inaugural conference Optimizing Quality Management in Fort Worth, Texas on March 14-15, 2012. Running alongside the exposition, the conference is designed to address the concerns of quality professionals seeking the latest techniques, in-depth training and strategic solutions to effectively instill a quality culture in their organization from design through to production.
"The quality industry has traditionally focused on compliance and improvement in production, but now the crying need is to dramatically improve the customer experience. Following the lead of Amazon, Google, Apple and Southwest Airlines, focus on service and non-manufactured products will usher in a much broader adoption of a customer-centric mindset. Many firms have policies for defects and returns, but few firms have embraced outside-in requirements for service design, innovation, ease of use and low end-user costs. We can do much better. Our customers are waiting," states highly reviewed speaker, Robin Lawton of International Management Technologies
The conference content spans two days with two tracks each day on quality tools, quality in the supply chain, lean manufacturing, risk management, quality in a global business, and a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) interactive workshop. Attendees can choose their tracks to create a customized program.
Notable speakers include John Holmes, Engineering Manager at General Electric speaking on incorporating quality in new product development; Jeffrey Slater, Operating Excellence Leader at Sonoco speaking on delivering value through innovation; and Jackie Brackin Bower, Senior Manager of Corporate Quality Services at Jeppesen, a Boeing Company speaking on improving quality across oceans and frontiers; David Auda, Reliability Engineer at Volvo Powertrain instructing the FMEA workshop.
Optimizing Quality Management conference will be running alongside Quality Expo Texas, combining 18 presentations and a full day workshop with a showcase of more than 384 exhibits of the latest tools and technologies for a comprehensive experience in one visit.
