Oprah Embraces Philip Stein® Watches for Third Time on 'Oprah's Favorite Things' Episode
NEW YORK, Dec. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- PHILIP STEIN®, maker of luxury watches with natural frequency technology, is featured in the last-ever "Oprah's Favorite Things" special, the third time the brand has been included in the much anticipated annual giveaway episode. The 2010 show, which originally aired November 19th, will be re-broadcast today.
"We are ecstatic to be included in Oprah's Favorite Things for a third time," said President of Philip Stein Group, Will Stein. "Fans of our brand are drawn not only to its quality and elegance, but also to the benefits of our exclusive natural frequency technology, which clinical trials prove promotes better sleep, less stress, and an overall improved well being."
The inclusion in "Oprah's Favorite Things" show marks the culmination of a successful year for Philip Stein. Despite challenges in the economic environment, the brand's sales significantly increased as the company assumed an aggressive global expansion strategy. Philip Stein has recently debuted new locations in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, as well as strengthening their market share in China, the Caribbean, and Middle East. The company also announced its first boutique in Russia, the first of several planned for the Eastern European market.
Designed exclusively for the 2010 episode of Oprah's Favorite Things, the "Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Oprah Watch by Philip Stein" is a work of art that commemorates Oprah's 25th anniversary on TV. On each Philip Stein signature dual dial rests an applied silver letter "O" celebrating the television star, philanthropist and businesswoman who first featured Philip Stein watches on her Favorite Things show in 2003 and then again in 2005. Philip Stein designers carried the theme one step further for this year's specially designed watch with applied silver numbers "2" and "5" commemorating Oprah's 25th anniversary.
