PITTSBURG, Kan., March 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Pitsco Education appreciates everything educators do to positively affect learners, from providing hands-on projects and engaging curriculum to creating after-school and summer school opportunities and beyond. And we know that funding such enriching opportunities can be difficult. That's why we're proud to offer a $350 monthly grant to make such learning possible.
The new Pitsco Education Grant will be awarded in the form of a certificate that may be used to purchase products at www.pitsco.com. The program is open to all teachers as our way of saying thanks for everything they do.
"Pitsco is eager to reward outstanding teachers for their efforts in STEM education," said Pitsco President Lisa Paterni. "The Pitsco Education Grant program is one way we can show our appreciation and, at the same time, give more students the opportunity to experience engaging hands-on learning."
Applicants may nominate themselves or be nominated by another individual at www.pitsco.com/grants. A Pitsco selection committee will review all nominations and choose one recipient each month. Winners will be notified via email and announced via social media.
