WASHINGTON, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Endorsed by former President Bill Clinton, with a foreword by legendary civil rights leader Andrew Young, John Hope Bryant builds a compelling economic argument for investing in America's least wealthy consumers. Operation HOPE plans to launch the first leg of its national book tour – the HOPE 100 City Tour -- to promote the latest book by Bryant, entitled How the Poor Can Save Capitalism: Rebuilding the Path to the Middle Class, starting on June 2014. The book is heralded as the organization's plan for creating America's first national private banker for the poor, working class and the struggling middle class.
The tour officially kicks off on June 5, in Washington, DC at the Gallup organization's headquarters, with Gallup Chairman and CEO Jim Clifton and former Minnesota Governor and Republican Presidential Candidate and current Financial Services Roundtable CEO, Tim Pawlenty, for a discussion about how the poor can save capitalism.
WHAT: The book tour aims to create opportunities for active engagement through conversation between key business and community leaders who can effect change. Hyatt Hotel is the official hotel of the How the Poor Can Save Capitalism Book Tour.
WHO: John Hope Bryant will join prominent business and civic leaders for a solution based conversation around rebuilding the middle class in book events across the country.
