Opera Solutions Names Sterling McCullough Principal

JERSEY CITY, N.J., April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Opera Solutions, LLC, a global firm that applies advanced analytics to solve the Big Data challenges of many of the world's leading organizations, today announced the hiring of Sterling McCullough as a Principal in the company's growing State and Local Government practice.

Mr. McCullough joins Opera Solutions with more than 30 years of experience in consulting, large-scale systems development, project management and business development, as well as over 20 years of experience working with Federal, State, and Local Government agencies. In his new role, Mr. McCullough will guide the company's analytics and consulting efforts with State and Local Government agencies nationally to generate cost savings across individual programs and improve overall business processes.

Mr. McCullough was formerly Director and Account Executive for Accenture's New York State Public Service practice, where he was responsible for the sales, delivery, staffing, and profitability of all State and Local Government consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing engagements in the State of New York. Prior to his tenure at Accenture, Mr. McCullough served as National Program Director for Health and Human Services (HHS) within Oracle's Public Sector Sales organization. Additionally, Mr. McCullough has also held senior positions with IBM Global Services, as well as Deloitte Consulting.
