Opera Solutions Awarded U.S. General Services Administration Schedule Contract
JERSEY CITY, N.J., Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Opera Solutions, LLC, a global firm that applies advanced analytics to solve the Big Data challenges of many of the world's leading organizations, has been awarded a U.S. federal government General Services Administration Schedule contract (Contract Number: GS-23F-0006X). The contract enables Opera Solutions to provide federal government agencies with financial management, risk assessment and risk mitigation services.
Among the services that Opera can now provide the federal government are financial management system assessment and improvement; financial reporting and analysis; devising and implementing performance measures; and formulating and developing financial policy. These services will help government entities achieve cost-reduction objectives, more effective collection of delinquencies, better identification and reduction of fraudulent practices, improved forecasting, and other financial and operational goals.
The contract also permits Opera to provide a number of risk assessment and mitigation services, including documentation of disclosure responsibilities for personally identifiable information and protected health information; deployment of risk assessment and mitigation strategies and techniques; and training of government personnel on how to prevent data breaches and identity theft.
