OpenGov Adds Senior Sales and Product Leaders

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- OpenGov, the global market leader in financial intelligence, planning, and transparency solutions for the 21st century government today announced two new executive hires.

David Reeves joins OpenGov as Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for global sales, business development, and customer success. Prior to OpenGov, David was Senior Vice President of Sales at Zuora, the global leader in subscription commerce and billing, where he oversaw 7X revenue growth.  David previously served in a variety of executive roles, including  Senior Vice president of worldwide sales for the SLM business unit and SVP WW Sales Operations, at PTC, an industry-leading computer software company with more than 1B in revenues.  David has a degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Tyler Ziemann joins OpenGov as VP Product where he will oversee OpenGov's product strategy, design, product management and roadmap.  Prior to OpenGov, Tyler led product management and product design (UX) teams at Elementum, a fast growing supply chain software company backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, AME Cloud Ventures, Aaron Levie, and Dave Duffield.  While there, Tyler helped grow the company from 9 to 115 employees and double-digit millions of dollars in ARR in 2.5 years. Previously, Tyler led new product and vertical expansion initiatives at Salesforce.com (including Data.com) and Yahoo!.  Tyler holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an AB in Political Science from Stanford University.

David and Tyler join other recent executive appointments including Ainslie Mayberry as CFO, Jawahar Malhotra as VP Engineering, Jeff Schultz as CMO, and Yasmeen Assisi who was recently promoted to VP of Talent.
