CLEARWATER, Fla., Oct. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- OmniBazaar Inc., a Florida software development company has announced plans to launch an innovative peer-to-peer internet marketplace that is designed to remove the middlemen and bankers from e-commerce. OmniBazaar has created and will distribute twenty billion units of cryptocurrency, called OmniCoins, to users who register to use the peer-to-peer marketplace, refer their friends, transact business in using OmniBazaar, and provide marketplace services for other users.

The developers of OmniBazaar are taking a different approach to the release of the coin. In the chaotic field of alternative cryptocurrencies, where most coins have become infamous for their use of various schemes to enrich the developers, OmniBazaar is promising to give away the entire supply of coins.
"We intend to have the broadest, fairest, and most open coin launch in the short history of cryptocurrencies," says OmniBazaar founder, Richard Crites. "We're not going to hold back any of the coins for the company, for the developer, to pay for future software development, or to repay any investors. The only coins that won't be distributed directly to users of the marketplace will be the coins we promise as 'perks' to our crowd-funding contributors," Crites explains.

"We are giving away 20 billion OmniCoins to emphasize the fact that any cryptocurrency, by itself, is absolutely worthless. It is nothing more than some bits and bytes pushed across the Internet. The only thing that gives any currency value is its usefulness. So, we are creating a simple, secure, cooperative, marketplace where OmniCoin can be easily and widely used, and allowing OmniCoin to find its own value," Crites explains.
OmniBazaar will operate without the usual "middlemen" like Amazon, Alibaba, and eBay, and without the "bankers" like VISA and PayPal. OmniBazaar also promises to provide users with superior privacy and 80% lower fees than the "big three" e-commerce giants. OmniBazaar is based on peer-to-peer data sharing — a concept similar to the file-sharing technology that brought the music industry's publishing giants to their knees. But, in the case of the OmniBazaar peer-to-peer shopping network, there is nothing illegal or immoral about eliminating the "middlemen" and "bankers" from e-commerce transactions. And the result will be lower prices for everyone using the cooperative network.

Development funds for the projects are being raised through crowd-funding at http://OmniBazaar.info. Donations can be made by credit card or Bitcoin. Contributors will receive one hundred thousand OmniCoins for each hundred dollars (or Bitcoin equivalent) donated.
Plans call for public release of OmniBazaar and OmniCoin in December, 2014. Further details are available on the OmniBazaar website: http://OmniBazaar.com.
