Thousands of Women Polled Say Online Outlets Offer More Styles Than Any Other Type of Retailer
NEW YORK, Feb. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- OneStopPlus.com®, a division of Redcats USA and the world's first and only web-mall for plus-size women and big & tall men, reveals that curvier women prefer online shopping, finding it the source with the best selection of clothing. The site polled over 10,000 female customers via an interactive survey, which asked questions directly related to women's shopping habits including: where they prefer to shop, where can they find the best selection of clothing, what garments they tend to shop for and the best sources for trustworthy fashion advice.
An overwhelming 78% of women polled by OneStopPlus.com® indicated that when looking for a great selection of items, the internet provides the most variety compared to stores and catalogues. On the contrary for plus-size shopping, only 3% of women prefer the assortment in boutiques over the internet, malls and catalogues.

Interestingly, the survey also found that 58% of these women prefer fashion advice from resources other than "experts." TV personalities were deemed least trustworthy, with only 5% of curvier women relying on their fashion advice, closely followed by stylists with 9%.
When asked what garments are the most difficult to purchase, nearly half (43%) of the plus-size women polled answered that pants were the hardest item to buy. Swimwear came in second at 26% with dresses closely following at 24%. Comparatively, shirts and skirts are considered easier garments to purchase, tying with 9%.
