CONCORD, Mass., March 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- OneSource Information Services, a recognized leader in business information and sales enablement solutions, today announced the appointment of Jonathan A. Flatow as President and Chief Operating Officer following the resignation of Philip J. Garlick. Mr. Garlick resigned after the successful spin-out of OneSource from its former parent, Infogroup, and the successful completion of its transition to a standalone, independent company. In his new role as President, Flatow will assume global responsibility for OneSource operations and will continue to report to CEO Joseph A. Ripp.
In 2011, Joseph A. Ripp, Dr. Charles W. Stryker, Robert E. Bies and Jonathan A. Flatow, formed Cannondale Investments, Inc., an investment company focused on completing acquisitions in the data enabled business services industry. In October 2012, Cannondale Investments completed the acquisition of OneSource.
"We would like to thank Phil for his many years of dedicated service to OneSource, and the hard work necessary to complete the spin-out from Infogroup and our transition to an independent company," said Joseph A. Ripp, CEO of OneSource. "As Phil looks forward to his next venture he can be proud of the innovative products and services OneSource developed under his leadership and OneSource's position as a leader in the business information and sales intelligence industry."
Mr. Flatow has over 25 years of experience in business and legal operations serving in senior management positions for public and private companies. Prior to Cannondale Investments Flatow served in senior management roles at Greenfield Online, Inc. He joined Greenfield Online in March 2000 as the company's Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel. In 2006, Flatow was appointed as Chief Administrative Officer. Flatow had played a key role in both Greenfield's IPO in 2004, and the sale of Greenfield Online to Microsoft Corporation in 2008 for $500mm, at which time he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
"Our future at OneSource is a bright one," said Flatow. "In my new role I look forward to working with our outstanding employees and leadership team to deliver business information and sales enablement products that will revolutionize the industry."
"I am grateful for the wonderful opportunity to have led OneSource's dedicated employees and for the pleasure of working with our committed clients and our dynamic data partners around the world to create the best products and solutions in their class," said Phil.
