SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- OneLogin, the industry leader in Unified Access Management, today announced that it has achieved FedRAMP Ready status, a milestone that extends an IT vendor's ability to serve U.S. federal agencies.
The FedRAMP Ready status is for the OneLogin Unified Access Management Platform, which delivers core identity functionality including directory services, single sign on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), user lifecycle management, and reporting. OneLogin manages millions of identities for over 2,500 organizations, including NASA, centralizing access management across both cloud and on-premises environments for all users and devices.
FedRAMP, or the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, is considered the gold standard for security certifications and is widely recognized as one of the most demanding security regulations. FedRAMP operates as a government-wide initiative to assess, authorize, and monitor cloud service providers and is designed to enable federal agencies to securely adapt from old, insecure legacy IT to cloud-based IT. While the program was established by the U.S. federal government, it incorporates security policies and procedures that will benefit all OneLogin customers.
To meet the unique needs of government entities, OneLogin collaborates with DLT Solutions, a government technology provider with a best in class portfolio of software and cloud solutions. Brian Strosser, DLT’s President of Solutions, said, “U.S. federal agencies are increasingly moving business applications and assets to the cloud, driving the need for Unified Access Management, which provides a simple and secure login to applications and devices that drive productivity.”
He continued, “Partnering with OneLogin strengthens our ability to provide our partners and customers access to a best-of-breed solution for Unified Access Management as our customers migrate to cloud.”
"We're proud to achieve the FedRAMP Ready milestone, as this is one of the most stringent product quality and cybersecurity certifications for IT vendors in either the private or public sector," said Addison Cole, OneLogin's Head of Federal Sales. "We plan to complete the final stages of the FedRAMP process this year and look forward to working with public sector organizations to achieve seamless, secure user access to cloud and on-premise applications."
