One of Mexico's Leading Entrepreneurs, Olegario Vazquez Aldir, Expects High Return in Public Relations From His Investment in TransMedia Group
MEXICO CITY, Oct. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- One of Mexico's most successful entrepreneurs, 43-year-old Olegario Vazquez Aldir, has reached across the border to Florida-based TransMedia Group to generate international publicity for his vast media, hospitality and sports holdings http://www.grupoempresarialangeles.com/.
TransMedia's publicity will focus on one of Aldir's most recent achievements, a $220 million deal with Mexico- Grupo Real Turismo, a division of Grupo Empresarial Angeles, set to open later this year and in various locations across Mexico beginning in 2016.
TransMedia (www.transmediagroup.com) will highlight Aldir's brilliant business career, which began in the nineties when he went to work for his father in their well-established family business, similar to how entrepreneurs like Donald Trump started out.
The Aldir family owned a hospital and a furniture store and young Olegario realized he could do more with what he learned from his father by applying his own business acumen and began to buy and distribute hospital supplies in bulk, something his father had not done.
Olegario built relationships with his providers and soon he was buying so many supplies at such great prices that he decided to buy another hospital. This was the beginning of Grupo Empresarail Angeles – named after the original hospital, Hospital de Angeles.
Today Grupo Empresarial Angeles owns Grupo Imagen Multimedia, Cadena Tres TV stations, Excelsior Newspaper and digital cable channel, Multiva Bank and Grupo Real Turismo which owns most the major hotel chains in Mexico. Vazquez Aldir also owns Mexican football team Gallos Blancos del Queretaro.
"It's always exciting to work with international clients and when they're as successful entrepreneurially as Olegario, it's icing on the publicity cake," said TransMedia Publicist Gabriela Vega, herself an entrepreneur who started, then sold a successful adventure travel business in Latin America.
With 27 hospitals, three major hotel chains, a financial group, radio station, newspaper, TV station and an advertising company, he is on a roll as one of the most influential businessmen in Mexico, she said.
"Our publicity will underscore what Aldir likes to say about Mexico—that it's 'the land of opportunities,'" and to take advantage of them, he has combined vision, strategy, creativity and leadership in generating over 30,000 jobs.
"Just like one of his hotels in El Paso Mexico, Aldir stands tall among the new crop of entrepreneurs who are reshaping Mexico," she said.
