OnBase Chosen by Three More Government Agencies
Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority, Crow Wing County, among the latest to turn to ECM software suite to improve citizen service with limited resources
CLEVELAND, April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizen demands continue to increase, and many state and local governments are struggling to meet them. What some already know – and more are learning – is there's technology that can assist. One in particular, called enterprise content management software, or ECM, is known to help governments become more efficient. This, in turn, leads to staff having more time to spend addressing citizens' needs. To make these improvements, three more government agencies have chosen OnBase, the award-winning ECM software suite from Hyland Software.

"The tough economy has created a perfect storm for ECM in government," said Mike Bilardo, director of government solutions for Hyland Software. "Unfortunately, more citizens are out of work, and they're asking more of their local governments. At the same time, agencies have tighter budgets, and can't add staff to handle the extra work. Because of these conflicting issues, we're seeing ECM become a strategic government technology. It's the foundation of providing better service, being able to track the success of that service, and making improvements that add long-term value."
Here are three of the recent government agencies to choose OnBase:
Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) – Cincinnati, Ohio

Crow Wing County – Brainerd, Minn.
