On The Border Begins Cinco de Mayo Countdown with an Angry Meltdown
Largest Casual Dining Mexican Restaurant Chain Counts Down to Cinco Previewing New Cinco de Mayo-Inspired Drinks Each Thursday in Anticipation of its Busiest Day of the Year
DALLAS, April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On The Border just can't wait for Cinco de Mayo, so it's having an Angry Meltdown.
With Countdown to Cinco, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina is having a pre-esta by previewing Cinco de Mayo-inspired cocktails each Thursday leading up to the official fiesta.
This includes the Angry Meltdown, featuring Angry Orchard® Hard Cider blended with sweet & sour, topped with a shot of Fireball® Cinnamon Whisky on the rocks, which OTB will showcase today (April 24). On May 1, OTB will celebrate its final Thursday Countdown to Cinco by introducing the Fruit CoronaRita™, a frozen fruit margarita infused with an ice cold Coronita, available in Mango, Strawberry or Wildberry flavors.
"We think about Cinco de Mayo every day of the year at OTB," said Steve Clark, On The Border's CEO. "So we decided to invite our guests to start the celebration early and preview special Cinco drinks each Thursday as we await our favorite holiday."
At participating OTB locations only, price and participation may vary.
