Omega Protein to Announce First Quarter 2011 Financial Results

HOUSTON, April 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Omega Protein Corporation (NYSE symbol: OME) today announced that it expects to release financial results for the quarter ended  March 31, 2011, on Thursday, May 5, 2011, after the market closes.  Senior management will hold a conference call to review the Company's financial results for this period and provide an update on Company developments at 8:00 a.m., Central Standard Time, on Friday, May 6, 2011.

Callers who wish to participate in the live conference call may do so by pre-registering at the Company's website (www.omegaproteininc.com).  After pre-registering, the participant will receive an individual participant code.  Then participants may dial 1-800-868-1837 (domestic callers) or 1-404-920-6440 (international callers) and enter their individual code to join the call.

An archived version of the conference call will be available on the Company website through May 31, 2011.
