Omar Namoos Joins Sagent Advisors

Sagent Expands Expertise in Aerospace & Defense Sector

NEW YORK, Nov. 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Sagent Advisors Inc. announced today that Omar Namoos has joined the firm as a senior banker focused on the aerospace & defense sector.  Mr. Namoos brings to Sagent more than a decade of investment banking experience advising aerospace and defense clients on a variety of strategic transactions.

During his career, Mr. Namoos has provided strategic advice to leading aerospace and defense companies on mergers and acquisitions, debt, equity and alternative capital raising transactions. Mr. Namoos was most recently the founder and president of Greystone Advisory Group, an aerospace and defense advisory firm.  Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Evercore Partners where he led the North American Aerospace & Defense practice and an Executive Director in Corporate Finance at UBS Investment Bank, where he served as a senior coverage officer for their North American aerospace and defense industry.  He also previously held positions at Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan and Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Mr. Namoos served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.  He received a BS in electrical engineering at University of California, Los Angeles, an MS in electrical engineering from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
