Omaha Steaks® to Support Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
OMAHA, Neb., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Omaha Steaks today announced a partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure in support of their mission to end breast cancer forever. From October 2011 through September 2012, Omaha Steaks will donate 10% of the purchase price of selected steak combo packages to Susan G. Komen with a guaranteed minimum donation of $25,000.
Omaha Steaks will invite customers to participate in their "Raising the Steaks" campaign to help Komen in the fight to save lives by purchasing one of several exclusive steak combo packages. The packages, which feature a wide assortment of gourmet items including Omaha Steaks filet mignons, top sirloins, burgers, pork chops and award-winning franks, will be offered at discounted prices throughout the year-long campaign. Ten percent of the purchase price of each package will be donated to Komen.
