PANTEGO, Texas and SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Olympus Property announces the opening of a new and uniquely positioned real estate investment fund; Olympus Diversified I, LLC. The new fund has targeted exclusive opportunities of class A and B garden style apartment communities at significant discounts to replacement cost in unique growth markets with barriers to entry.
Olympus Property, founded in 1992, is a fully integrated Real Estate Investment Firm, which is focused on the acquisition, management and timely disposition of high quality multi-family communities. The firm has over 25 predecessor partnerships and currently holds in excess of 6,000 units under management. The geographic markets of greatest penetration are primarily in the south, southwest and south Atlantic.
Co-founder, Chandler Wonderly states, "We believe that this market offers unprecedented opportunities, particularly within the multi-family rental category. With vacancy rates falling and rents on the rise, returns on rental property investments are solidly compelling." Demand for rental housing in the U.S. is expanding at the strongest pace since the mid-1980's and apartments are benefiting greatly from this trend.
The Olympus Diversified fund will be composed of 4 to 5 unique apartment communities, each complementing the portfolio and offering compelling synergies of performance to our investors. The fund has recently acquired two of these properties and a third is presently under contract. All properties are of newer construction and are from 100 to 500 units each. All are cash flowing positive immediately.
