The event took place at the school's Miami location where 48 students and two faculty members participated in the activities. Exclusive recipes developed by Rapicavoli and Olives from Spain were the center of attention to showcase the sophisticated versatility of the Mediterranean wonders.

During the special event, students were given multiple opportunities to experience the power of Olives from Spain. Following speeches by both Chef Rapicavoli and Olives from Spain ambassadors, students were given the opportunity to observe and question. Chef Giorgio went through step-by-step process for his all-new Olives from Spain Recipes including Marinated Olives with Lemon, Oregano & Garlic and Grilled Gordal Olives with Manchego, Rosemary & Shallots. Also demonstrated during the event was a Cheesecake with Candied Black Olives.
From each recipe showcased, Johnson & Wales students were given an in-depth look into the wonderful world of Olives from Spain. Incredibly versatile, Chef Rapicavoli showcased how Spanish Olives can make any dish more robust and memorable, including dessert. Elegant and powerful, Olives from Spain will now surely be added to the repertoire of these future culinary masters.
