OleumTech Adds Another Patent To Portfolio With New Wireless Resistive Level Sensor

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- OleumTech™, (www.oleumtech.com), a leading manufacturer of wireless industrial automation systems, today announced it has been granted US Patent 8,763,455 B1 by the US Patent Office.  The patent is the latest of several in the OleumTech portfolio and covers the Resistive Liquid Level/Temperature Sensor and Transmitter, technology that includes low voltage impedance measurement circuitry that converts impedance values into measurements indicating temperature and the levels of two different liquids located within a storage tank, typically oil and water.

The OleumTech Resistive Sensor and Wireless Transmitter is an intrinsically safe, battery-powered, self-contained solution that is ideal for deployment in harsh, hazardous areas where trenching and running conduit is not an option or economical.  The 316 stainless steel resistive sensor, Part# WT-0900-LL3, is compatible with a vast number of chemicals, providing many liquid level applications in the oil and gas, petro-chemical, food and beverage, water/wastewater, and many other process industries for monitoring product, interface and temperature levels.
