Oleksandr Klymenko: No Contact With Viktor Yanukovych
Former Ukrainian Revenues and Duties Minister's Last Communication with Previous President in February
KIEV, Ukraine, July 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Former Ukrainian Minister of Revenues and Duties Oleksandr Klymenko (http://oleksandrklymenko.com) has not communicated with ousted President Viktor Yanukovych for half of a year.
This fact was revealed in an article which recently appeared in the Kiev-based online newspaper Ukrayinska Pravda. It was based on a lengthy interview given by the leader to reporter Sergii Leshchenko.
When asked whether he is in regular contact with the former head of state, Klymenko (http://oleksandrklymenkotaxesukraine.com) replied, "No. I fulfilled my role. [While in office] we did not have regular communication. There was a sharing of reports. The last time we spoke was in the beginning of February [2014]. Since then I have had zero contact with him."
Klymenko, when asked about Yanukovych's whereabouts, amplified his response: "No, I do not maintain contact with him. I have no relationship with him and his family. We don't meet, we don't talk over the phone. We broke off all contact in February which continues until today."
