Old Mutual Asset Management Appoints Pascal Vernaeve Head of Benelux Sales

BOSTON, July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Old Mutual Asset Management (OMAM), the U.S.-based global asset management business of Old Mutual plc, announced today that it has named Pascal Vernaeve as Head of Benelux Sales. The appointment further strengthens one of OMAM's core strategies of building institutional distribution capabilities in key global markets to achieve superior growth prospects for its affiliates. 

In this new role, Mr. Vernaeve will focus on marketing the investment strategies of OMAM's affiliates to institutional investors, consultants and platforms in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (e.g. "Benelux"). He will be based in London and will report to Olivier Lebleu, OMAM's Head of Non-US Distribution.

Prior to joining OMAM, Mr. Vernaeve was a Manager for Institutional Clients covering Benelux institutions at Man Group plc.  Before joining Man Group, he worked as an Associate Investment Consultant at Towers Perrin. Mr. Vernaeve holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Management from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands.
