Old Dominion National Bank Names Three New Directors to the Board of the Northern Virginia Financial Institution with More than $150 Million in Assets
Growing Tysons Corner community bank's Board of Directors now totals 12
TYSONS CORNER, Va., Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Old Dominion National Bank announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors. Daniel M. Harrington, Mayur N. Patel and William H. Shawn join nine other entrepreneurs, business executives and community leaders on the Board of the growing Tysons Corner bank with more than $150 million in assets.

Over the last two years, Old Dominion expanded assets, loans and deposits by 225 percent, 191 percent and 206 percent, respectively, recruiting and retaining top local talent and attracting high-quality customers as it executes its organic growth strategy.

Daniel M. Harrington is the President and CEO of DM Haggerty LLC, a Southlake, Texas consulting firm providing counsel to owners and chief executives of domestic and international businesses. Previously, he served as President and CEO of Lehigh Hanson Inc., a provider of aggregates, cement, asphalt and other products. Harrington has also served as chairman of Portland Cement Association, Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association, and Northeast Cement Shippers Association. He earned a B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University, an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University.
Mayur N. Patel is Co-Founder and Principal of Laughner Patel Developers in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which specializes in professional real estate development and project management services. A licensed Pennsylvania attorney, Patel previously served as General Counsel to Hersha Hospitality Trust, a NYSE-listed real estate investment trust. He currently serves on the boards of directors of AAA Central Penn, Harrisburg University and the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation. Patel earned a B.A. from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law.
William H. Shawn has an extensive career working in business and law. As Co-Managing Partner of ShawnCoulson International Lawyers since 1986, based in its offices in Washington, he has deep experience representing clients with a specific emphasis in ethics, intellectual property, antitrust, transactions, and regulatory affairs. Shawn is also an owner of the Exclusive Automotive Group of Northern Virginia automobile dealerships, a partner in SilverArrow Americas, an international private equity company, and serves as an adjunct professor and an emeritus member of the Dean's Board of Advisors at his alma mater, The George Washington University Law School. He also earned a B.A. from The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs.
