Oil Drilling Movie From 'Frack Master' Now Available
DALLAS, April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- "Breaking Free," the documentary film featuring the benefits of hydraulic fracturing, produced by Chris Faulkner, CEO and Chairman of Breitling Energy (OTCBB: BECC), is now available for digital download, online rental and DVD purchase. This is part of an arrangement solidified earlier this year with Virgil Films to exclusively distribute the movie.
Faulkner, who is often dubbed in the media as the 'Frack Master,' conducted a multi-city nationwide satellite tour today from New York, talking about the direction of oil prices, summer driving season, a North American oil alliance with the U.S., Canada and Mexico that could rival OPEC, and to discuss the movie.
"Breaking Free" chronicles what is behind the push toward independence from America's dependence of foreign oil. "There was so much mis-information from the environmentalists and those who oppose fracking that I decided we needed to take a stand. Our culture relates to videos and films more than anything, so this was a natural for us to produce and get behind," Chris Faulkner said.
The film features real-life stories from Texas to North Dakota, explaining how the fracking technology, only made commercially viable ten years ago, has transformed communities and the lives of people who have been fortunate enough to benefit from it. The movie presents the operational details and the science behind fracking in an easy-to-understand way, showing the grass-roots benefits of America becoming more energy independent.
"People look at oil prices today and they think fracking has been a failure. It's just the opposite," Faulkner says. "That you're filling your tank up for less than $3.00 is directly attributed to fracking. It's been the biggest modern-day success story of the decade. Five years ago, we were begging oil from nations who can't tolerate what America stands for. Today, we've become the swing oil producer on the world's stage and have OPEC's total respect. That's all due to fracking. It's a game-changer," Faulkner adds.
"Breaking Free" is available for purchase, download or rental from Amazon.com and iTunes.com and more information is available on the movie's website at www.breakingfreemovie.com. The film was directed by Robin Bossert and co-produced by Chris Faulkner and Ann Stephenson.
